ReplyDeleteAmazing to think of an eternal period prior to time - that might be termed the ever present NOW. Truly mind blowing stuff. We are so connected to time it is almost painful to concieve of a point where time was not.
ReplyDeleteThis has always given me pause - regardless of your persuasion, atheist, theist, scientist or dunce - the problem of infinite regression plagues the most stringent of thinkers. What was before the Big Bang? There had to be something that was to be banged and there had to be some force that was a big enough Banger.
We all have to deal with the issue of the a causless first cause. The "It just happened" answer is not at all satifying.
